Kangana Ranaut Reacts To Latest Sadhu Lynching Case: ‘Their Curse Will Destroy Every Hope We Have Of A Peaceful Country’

On April 16 night, Two Juna Akhara Sadhus – Chikne Maharaj Kalpavrukshagiri, Sushilgiri Maharaj, along with their driver Nilesh Telgade, were attacked with sticks and axes by a mob in which several police officers were also injured. Sadhu’s killing not only made headlines it also took a communal route. As per the latest report in Times Now, a PIL has also been filed in the Supreme Court to transfer the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation for a fair investigation. The report also states that two separate charge sheets have been filed Palghar Sadhu Lynching case.

Known for speaking up about everything that matters, Kangana Ranaut has now reacted to the same. Kangana Ranaut’s Team’s tweet read, “Another Sadhu lynched for wearing saffron color, the curse of these sanyasis will destroy every little hope we have of a peaceful country, we will continue to suffer if we don’t stop killings of innocent spiritual seekers”

Special Public Prosecutor Satish Maneshinde told IANS, “Yes, the charge sheets have been filed before the Palghar Sessions Court. Each runs into some 6,000-pages and has named 126 accused each.”


Kangana Ranaut is currently spending the lockdown in Manali with family and sister. The Manikarnika actress recently took her family for a picnic before the monsoon hits Northside. She also made headlines for taking a sly dig at Swara Bhakser in her latest Tweet.
